Description
As the ideal candidate, you have at least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience as a site superintendent for residential wood structure projects. You have proven expertise in Quebec construction methods, codes, standards and regulations. Our residential construction project is located in BROSSARD.
Responsibilities
- Manage a project under the supervision of the Project Manager;
- Ensure that work is carried out efficiently, productively and safely;
- Independently coordinate site activities in compliance with the customer's plans and specifications;
- Enforce compliance of suppliers and subcontractors with contractual requirements;
- Write site reports, complete control sheets, receive materials delivered to site;
- Plan construction schedules and ensure compliance;
- Inform the project manager of progress and make any necessary adjustments to the work schedule;
- Follow up with the project manager to ensure that all required documents are up to date;
- Eliminate all deficiencies in order to receive provisional and final acceptance of the project;
- Manage material, equipment, labor and subcontracting requirements;
- Any other related tasks.
